Bonjour à tous!
I hope that you're all doing well!
Just a quick little update today because my normal Sunday update is going to be a little late, as I'm leaving for Scotland on Saturday!
During my semester here in France, I get two major breaks : a week in February starting this Saturday, as well as the first two weeks of April off. I am so excited that this week I get to go visit one of my friends from Brunswick at St. Andrews University, where she studies! Not only do I get to spend three days hanging with her, but one of those days is her birthday, and one night she's performing in the Vagina Monologues.
Basically, I'm really freaking psyched.
After my time with her, I get to hang out in Edinburgh for a few days before flying back to Rennes. I'll probably update again on Tuesday or Wednesday, when I have more pictures and stories to share. For now, I'll leave you with the word "vacances," meaning "vacation".
Something that the US lacks and France knows how to embrace.
A la prochaine fois,
Evelyn
