Bonjour à toutes et tous!
I hope that you are all doing well!
It's sad to say, but this is my last week here in Rennes.
Today, I start packing my stuff to see how I can make it all fit without going over the weight limit (a sad but real challenge of studying abroad).
This past week was, once again, pretty awesome, although tinged with bittersweetness because I know I'm nearing the end of my program. I spent most of it with my friends (or in class), so I didn't take many pictures.
The protests against the Loi Travail (work law) amped up this week after a special law/code 49.3 allowed the law to be immediately passed through one chunk of government, so now it's a lot closer to becoming official (clearly I don't really understand the details). This means that there were protests almost every day last week - some for an hour or two, others for more. Aaand they're just going to continue into next week.
Other than that, I'm just trying to do something special every day, so that I'll know I made the most of this life-changing semester :)
That's all for now,
A la prochaine fois
(And congrats to SU's class of 2016 who just graduated!!!!!!!)
